Hi!everyone, i am a Chinese girl and want use WEAP to do my undergraduate thesis,i just start my job this month, and i have met a problem ,because of lacking of many data, so calibration is necessary, but how to do calibration, after i input the data in the current accounts, then what do i need do to make sure the model runs rightly, if i need calibrate model, then how to do it? last, when lacking of many data, how to deal with this situation.
thank you very much for discussing these questions with me! let's share with each other! and happy everyday! |

Hi
Your question is a bit out of WEAP skills. It depends on the nature of data, the project, sensitivity of projects and results that you wish to get by WEAP,.... Generally, you have to have some real operational data to make sure that WEAP is calibrated in your project or not. So, you have some inputs and data (like headflow, evaporation, rainfall, areas and so on) the output will be operation rule (in general description). Thus you have to compare your real (or measured) operation data with WEAP's output. I wish it was useful. Cheers |
