Subject: About Precipitation Data

Dear All,
I have a question about precipitation data. I am using PGM Method and realised that precipitation results (from: input data/ catch./ climate/ precip.) are different from my input data. Maybe I guess there is a minor technical problem about to convert data daily to monthly. I am asking if this can affect my model's results? Also I'd like to ask you, what the difference between two precipitation parameters in catchment results (for catchment results, not input data) is. Thanks in advance! |

Dear Salim,
How are your input precipitation results different from your input data? Where are you looking at catchment results for precipitation that are not the input data? I'm not sure I follow, Thanks, Stephanie |

This is a bug in how WEAP displays daily input data in the Results View, such as PGM or MABIA climate data. The daily data is incorrectly displayed as monthly data. I will fix this in the next version of WEAP. Note, however, that the calculations are correct -- the problem in only in how the daily input data are displayed in the Results View.
