Subject: PET in the Soil Moisture Method

Hello,,

in The Soil Moisture Method, it is said that « the calculation for the potential evapotranspiration, PET, is done using the reference crop calculation described in the Handbook of Hydrology (1993) in section 4.2.5, equation 4.2.31 ». As it is said in this book, « equation 4.2.31 is not the Penman-Monteith equation as such », yet for me, it looks quite similar ;)

Anyway, my concern is that in Weap, the Net Radiation is not inputted, so that an equation is used to compute Rn. Would it be possible to know the full development of PET equation in Weap?

Cheers
Michel
