Dear all
Im used to run Weap with my PC many years, I need to change the PC. I download Weap, the areas and this message is coming: Error reading MODFLOW Block centered Flow file Bad Format --not a valid floating point number:"-888.0" File C/\Users........... Line: 1 Position:11 Contents : 40-888.0 01.0 1 0 Do you want to edit now ? I try to edit the file by deleting the sign -but no result Please how to do Thanks |

Dear Rym,
I can only guess, but I suspect one of the following reasons for that error message: 1. in your PC's language setting, the decimal separator is not set to "." 2. possible, but not as likely: the value of HNOFLO (that's the -888.0) is different in the basic package You could test this by changing the value to something easier to read (e.g. 888) in both the BAS and the BCF packages. No matter what value you enter, it does not affect the model's results as it is only a flag indicating inactive cells. |
