Hi, I was wondering what about model validation? Are there specific steps? What if I use actual and predicted water shortages to make a comparison? But what do I do if I compare traffic data? I have encountered great difficulty in model verification, which leads to my inability to continue my research. I would be very grateful if you could help me solve this problem.

Hi
are you calibrated the model?

To calibrate and validate a model, generally you split the years where you have observed data up into the calibration period and the validation period. For example, you may want to calibrate from 2000-2010 and validate from 2011-2020. Assess the performance using metrics such as R squared and percent bias that are listed in the Streamflow Gauge comparison result.
