I used reservoir volume to calibrate the model, current account being 2015. There is big variation in the reservoir volume of the same months for 2015 and 2016 (which i am to use as validation) e.g 2015 april 21MCM, while 2016 april is 3.7MCM, May 19 MCM and 3.05MCM, JUN 17MCM and 2.4 MCM, this big difference goes for all the months. HOW DO I VALIDATE THE MODEL because there a big difference in the dam level in the following year of the current accounts

What else is changing the year after Current Accounts? What is the reservoir level 2 years after Current Accounts? Is 20MCM closer to the reality of your reservoir storage or is 3MCM closer? If it continues to drop and this is not representative of your system, then it is likely that either a) your model does not include all inputs to the reservoir b) your modeled demand is greater than in reality (assuming your demand nodes take water from the reservoir or from the river that hosts the reservoir) or c) your model is missing some of the water sources that help meet demand in your system.
