dear WEAP community
in my model , I have a treatment plant that transfers the treated water to a canal network that operates as follows Main Pump Station pump water from the treatment plant into the Main Channel (MC). The MC directly feeds the first subsidiary channel, PC1. then water is pumped from the Main Channel via a second pump station to feed two subsidiary channels: PC2 and PC3. finally Water is pumped from channel PC3 via a third pump station to feed the PC4. my question is How would I program this in WEAP? another question : I am facing is how to model the water distribution schedule for these channels, as the year is divided into two distinct periods with different pumping durations: Winter Period: (From January 1st to May 31st) · MC and PC1: Water is pumped for 8 days. · PC2: Water is pumped for 8 days (after stopping supply to MC and PC1). · PC3: Water is pumped for 8 days (after stopping supply to PC2). · PC4: Water is pumped for 8 days (after stopping supply to PC3). Summer Period: (From June 1st to December 31st) · MC and PC1: Water is pumped for 6 days. · PC2: Water is pumped for 6 days (after stopping supply to MC and PC1). · PC3: Water is pumped for 7 days (after stopping supply to PC2). · PC4: Water is pumped for 10 days (after stopping supply to PC3). How can I model this system, particularly the rotation mechanism between the channels according to the different seasonal periods (winter and summer)?
