Dear all,
For an ongoing project in Afghanistan we are currently looking for a trainer willing to work in Kabul for up to two weeks. The criteria for this position are as follows:
- proficient in WEAP modelling (in particular in using the in-built functions),
- willing to go to Afghanistan (Kabul) for 2 weeks,
- strong training experience,
- conflict area experience.
The group to be trained are Afghans with some previous WEAP training i.e. it would be an advanced level training. Particular focus would be to train them in the Hari Rud basin WEAP model that was developed. The prospective trainer would get a briefing to get an understanding of the developed model.

I've been part of a team in University of Milan (IT) that used WEAP21 in Lebanon and myself a basic weap user.
I'm not writing concerning the WEAP trainer but just to let you know that now I'm working in afghanistan with iMMAP (www.immap.org) an international not-for-profit 501(c)3 non-governmental organization (NGO) that provides targeted information management support to partners responding to complex humanitarian and development challenges.

I am a student doctor in Tajikistan Academy of Sciences, Institute of Water Problems . Currently I am working on a similar thesis and am interested in participating in the project . If possible, I am very grateful .
