Hi There....
I am working with an island called Carriacou....a very small island north of Grenada in the Caribbean. When I import my shapefile (in WGS 84)....it does not show in the interface. I also realise that whereas there are outlines for all of the other major islands and land masses, there is none for Carriacou. When I zoom into the location where the shp is supposed to fall, nothing is there. Any advice/ feedback here would be greatly appreciated!

I am sorry, but this island is not included in the country basemap that is included with WEAP. However, if you have your own GIS shapefile that includes Carriacou, you can load that layer in WEAP. On the Schematic menu, choose "Add Vector Layer"

Thanks for the response! Yes, I am adding the shp file via "Add Vector Layer". However, my shp is not showing up on the interface....shouldn't it at least fall in the vicinity of Grenada (in the sea) since there isn't a basemap for this island?

The WEAP basemaps use the WGS84 projection (lat/lon). If your shapefile uses a different projection, it will not appear with the WEAP basemaps. Add your shapefile, then remove all the WEAP basemap layers, then go to Schematic, Set Area Boundaries.
