Hi,
How can I calculate the irrigation water requirement of crop for WEAP model?
Is it ok by CropWat,how can I calculate mixed crop water requirement by CropWat?

Hi,

For irrigation water use, I recommend building a catchment (rather than a demand site). Make sure that you select "Includes Irrigated Areas" in the General Info window for the catchment. Then you can choose how to model the catchment. In the data tree, select the catchment and click the "Advanced" button. You will see 4 methods for determining demand. The MABIA method is very similar to CropWat (FAO software): both are based on the same FAO 56 methodology.
