To obtain a WEAP license, you must first create an account on the WEAP user forum (www.WEAP21.org/join). When creating this account, please write your name and the name of your organization are written in English letters. You should also use your official organizational email, rather than a personal email (such as one ending in @yahoo.com, @gmail.com, @hotmail.com, etc.) If you are a student, be sure to include information about what degree you are pursuing, and your expected graduation date.
After creating an account, you can request a license at http://www.WEAP21.org/licensing There are different options here - some people are eligible for fee waivers of the license fee, but other users must purchase a license. Be sure to read through the different options to be sure you know which you qualify for.
We grant license requests over email, so you should receive an email within a day or so (unless it is the weekend) with a response. If the email has your license code, you can enter that into WEAP under the menu Help/Register WEAP. Be sure to use your full user name (name, organization and country) when registering WEAP.
