Hi Ali,

Deep Water Capacity is one of many parameters for the Soil Moisture Method for modeling catchments. It refers to the "lower bucket" of the method (see the WEAP Help Menu: Calculation Algorithems/Evapotranspiration, Runoff, Infiltration/Soil Moisture Method (http://www.weap21.org/WebHelp/index.html, but open it in Firefox)). Basically, the Deep Water Capacity is the total depth of water that can be stored in the lower bucket. When multiplied with the area of the catchment, WEAP can calculate the volume of water capacity in the lower bucket, which helps determine how quickly water percolates from the lower bucket to the river.

Unfortunately I do not know where you can find this data for Pakistan. You may have to estimate it and then alter it as part of the calibration process.
