Eng Yibeltal,

Apologies for the slow response-

It is possible to model irrigation within the soil moisture method using a catchment object. To learn more, please view our video in the WEAP YouTube channel on the soil moisture method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vebqcUvPp3c&list=PLoJ3pxCzMP1uQRaimYV-wxJRRuIMNzdVU&index=14 . You can also see the Hydrology chapter of the WEAP Tutorial (https://www.weap21.org/tutorial/).

To my knowledge, domestic and livestock demands are not explicitly represented using catchment irrigation. You could enter these as demand nodes instead, and possibly create a function within WEAP to vary them depending on the rainfall.

Good luck!
-Doug
