Hi,

I am practicing WEAP model and trying to make a replica of the previous model.
But, there is a WEAP model done in 2020 by a registered member named by Ankit Gupta at the University of Alberta, Canada which cannot be opened with WEAP software.

Would you please help me to resolve this issue?

Thanks and Regards

Trayee,

If you have a .WEAP file (made from a model backup), you can double-click on it and it should open in WEAP.

If you have a folder of files for the model instead, copy this folder into your WEAP Areas folder (go in WEAP --> Help --> About WEAP --> Areas Directory to find your WEAP Areas folder). Exit and restart WEAP, and then go to Open and the model should appear in your list of areas.

If these methods don't work, please share your error message.

Cheers,
Doug
