I am seeking your guidance regarding the calibration and validation of the WEAP model for the Chitral River Basin in Pakistan. This basin is a snow-fed catchment, and I have observed that the model is currently underestimating low flows and overestimating high flows.
Could you please provide suggestions or best practices to address these issues in WEAP? Any insights or recommendations you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Bushra,
The best-practice is to first calibrate your snowpack volume (hopefully you have observed data available), then to calibrate any downstream streamflow.
For calibration of the snowpack volume, please see the Snow Hydrology chapter of the WEAP tutorial.
For rainfall-runoff calibration of the catchments, please see the Catchment Calibration chapter of the WEAP Tutorial. Pages 212-226, with a particularly helpful table on page 221, show the effects on the calibration of adjusting the various streamflow parameters. If you are using the Soil Moisture Method for your catchments, I recommend to study your results for soil moisture (z1 and z2)- make sure that the soil moisture levels follow a believable trend and are not consistently at 0% or 100%.
